We would like to describe an unusual location of marginal zone B-cell lymphoma in a surgical scar.
A 53-year-old patient was admitted for a painful, hard abdominal scar. A splenectomy trough midline laparotomy for splenomegaly was performed 8 months earlier, which allowed the diagnosis of splenic marginal zone B-cell lymphoma with bone marrow involvement.
