Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors for Multiple Sclerosis Treatment: A New Frontier
2024, Neurologic ClinicsInflammatory signal induced IL-10 production of marginal zone B-cells depends on CREB
2019, Immunology LettersCitation Excerpt :BCR stimulation mediates the activation of phospholipase Cγ2 (PLCγ2), which catalyses the hydrolysis of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate, generating diacylglycerol (DAG) and inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3). IP3 functions to mobilize calcium from intracellular stores, whereas DAG binds to protein kinase C [33]. Quite recently, Matsumoto and colleagues showed that ablation of the calcium (Ca2+) sensors STIM1 and STIM2 in B-cells caused defects in activation of NFAT, production of anti-inflammatory cytokine, IL-10, and in suppression of an EAE model of autoimmune diseases thus provided a great evidence for the significance of STIM-dependent Ca2+ signalling in the regulatory function of B-cells [34].
