AB  - A case of an unusual hypertrophic gastropathy confined to the gastric antrum which presented with chronic anaemia is described. The clinical and pathological features are contrasted with Menetrier's disease and hypersecretory hypertrophic gastropathy, and a possible relation to solitary hyperplastic (regenerative) polyps is discussed.
