Hypercalcaemia is a rare feature of ALL and has not previously been related to T cell disease. Both cases, in some respects, resembled (age between 10 and 20 years and low white cell count) the few other previously reported cases. In one of our cases increased concentrations of vitamin D3 seemed to have a role in the pathogenesis of the hypercalcaemia.
