Lectins were found to be helpful in the differential diagnosis of renal tumours. Another important finding was that the mesenchyme of renal tumours showed differences in its reactivity among various types of kidney tumours. The results of lectin binding were not helpful in establishing the origin of kidney tumours. ER -
