Neoplasms of the Prostate
2020, Urologic Surgical PathologyExtracellular vesicles as emerging targets in cancer: Recent development from bench to bedside
2017, Biochimica et Biophysica Acta - Reviews on CancerCitation Excerpt :Their numbers were 2.5- to 7-fold higher compared with that in the benign group, and were higher in patients with high-grade (Gleason scores more than 7) than in those with low grade (Gleason scores less than 6) PCa. In PCa, the number of ABs from cancer tissue also correlated with the disease progression [201], suggesting the poteintal of AB as biomaker. Other than these typical EVs, the newly identified EV, large oncosome, has also been shown to be a specific marker for cancer diagnosis [38].
