2023, Auris Nasus LarynxCitation Excerpt :To prevent the progression of severe disease to sensorineural hearing loss, it is necessary to collaborate with respiratory physicians to treat patients with EOM, because the symptoms of EOM correlate with the severity and treatment status of bronchial asthma. Davies et al. [49] and Woude et al. [50] reported that some vasculitis cases were positive for ANCA, suggesting that ANCA might play an important role in the pathogenesis of vasculitis. ANCA is an auto-antibodies against neutrophil intracytoplasmic granules and lysosomes.
