J Cutan Pathol. 1987 Aug;14(4):251-4. doi: 10.1111/j.1600-0560.1987.tb01343.x.

Abstract

The skin is a rare site for metastases from the thyroid. We report 2 cases of skin metastases from a thyroid medullary carcinoma. This is the first report of metastasis to the skin from a medullary carcinoma. The diagnosis was confirmed by immunocytochemical studies performed on the skin biopsy specimens.
