The publication of the second edition of Biopsy Interpretation of the Bladder is fortuitous given the dog-eared state of my first edition, which reflects its almost daily use as a favourite bench book over the past 6 years.

This edition follows the pattern of the first with an initial chapter on normal bladder histology and its variants, followed by chapters on flat urothelial lesions and papillary, inverted and invasive urothelial neoplasms, an excellent chapter on the histological variants …
